2010 Practice Schedule
You must be at all practices; I take attendance and your playing time will be affected if practices are missed. In order to do well at these summer tournaments, it is imperative that we all practice together so we can learn how each other plays and how to work as a team. Missing practices not only hurts you as an indivdual player, but also the team as a whole.
However, I do realize that life happens. Acceptable excuses for missing practices are: if your high school team is in the playoffs and your coach won't let you play on another team until you finish, sickness (must email or call the coach ahead of time), or attending a lacrosse camp one week during the summer (although you should really try to avoid this conflict since we only have a two month season and have a week off in the middle!). I WILL NOT excuse practices for vacations, weekend/day trips, work, etc. You are given plenty of notice when practices will be, so there should be no surprises; therefore, work all of your conflicts out now! Practices will start end of May/beginning of June on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays and run through the week before our last tournament at the end of July.
All of our practices will be on the field behind Windsor Baptist Church in Chester Springs, PA (about 20 minutes north on Route 100 from West Chester) or at Lambert Park Field #2 in West Chester off of Pottstown Pike (1/3 mile on the left after crossing over Greenhill Road, past the Wawa). Our practice schedule is listed below.
