Cyclones Lacrosse - Coaches
Head Coach Erin Gallagher
As a fourth-year coach for Cyclones, Erin brings much passion and experience to coaching this squad of young lacrosse players. She has been playing lacrosse herself since the fourth grade. A 2006 graduate of Messiah College, Erin started and played in every collegiate lacrosse game she was eligible for throughout her four years there. She graduated from Messiah's program as a US Lacrosse/IWLCA Division III Third Team National All-American defender (Messiah's first defender to earn the honor), leading her team to the college's first-ever MAC conference championship and NCAA Divison III tournament first-round win. Other honors include 2006 MAC Scholar Athlete of the Year, two-time First Team IWLCA Regional All-American, three-time MAC All-Conference, 2006 North/South Senior All-Star Game participant, 2006 Inside Lacrosse magazine pre-season First Team All-American, and particpated in the 2006 IWLCA USA National Team tryouts. She currently holds all of Messiah's defensive records. When not on the lacrosse field, Erin works for an advertising agency in Malvern, PA designing and maintaining websites.
Assistant Coach Kristin Brownett
Kristin enters her second year as Cyclones' offensive coach. Kristin's field sense and encouragment makes her a great addition to the coaching squad. In Spring of 2008, Kristin graduated from Unionville High where she played field hockey and lacrosse all four years. As a senior, she was captain of both teams. She plays midfield (although more offensive minded) in both sports. Honors include making All-League and All-Area for both sports, as well as a two-time Academic All-American for lacrosse. Currently, Kristin attends Eastern University where she is studying Elementary Education and continues to play field hockey and lacrosse. At her brief time so far at Eastern, she started as freshman for field hockey and helped her team advance to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament for Eastern's first time. Kristin's favorite color is orange and favorite tv show is One Tree Hill. She also loves doing art such as drawing and painting.
